"Hi Jamie, we just wanted to say thank you so so much to you and the band for your set yesterday at Brig O Doon (and for learning our obscure first dance). About us

If you’re looking for a great wedding and function band that offers something a little different, we might be just what you’re after.

The Shakers is a band based in Glasgow that performs at weddings and events all over Scotland.

We've been performing together for more than five years and enjoy nothing more than filling dance floors and making sure that your guests, young and old, hear something they'll enjoy and want to dance to.

We feature male and female vocals plus a brilliant sax player which goes down well with everyone.

You'll hear everything from Glenn Miller to Bruno Mars, Sinatra to Swedish House Mafia and everything in between.  If you fancy some Scottish country dancing, we can play a cracking ceilidh set and we'll even "call" the dances so that everyone can join in.  If you'd like an even more authentic ceilidh sound and a longer experience, then we can call on the services of a superb fiddle player at an additional fee.

We're 100% reliable, easy to get on with and very experienced. We've played in almost every popular Scottish wedding or event venue and we're quite happy to travel to get to you.

Have a listen to our demos and a look at our photos.  If you think we could be the band for you, get an instant quote and check our availability by clicking on the button at the top right of this page.

Like most of the best bands in Scotland, The Shakers have appointed Hireaband to take care of our paperwork and administration but don't worry, you won't pay a penny more to book us and you'll find them helpful, friendly and supportive.

Thanks for taking the time to find out more about The Shakers. We hope to see you soon.

Remember, you can get an instant quote and even find out if we're available by clicking the link on this page.  If we're not available then we always recommend people to get in touch with our friends at Hireaband - The Scottish Entertainment Agency behind some of the very best Wedding Bands in Scotland.
